Binghamton has come farther in just over 75 years than its peers have in centuries. We leaned into that story with a #BingBringsIt awareness campaign, a wide range of donor-focused materials, and unique engagement efforts tailored to specific groups of alumni far in advance of the launch. The keystone of this collateral was a highly flexible visual language and a unique campaign name that deftly couples the concepts of speed and excellence.

A brand-driven hybrid launch
The campaign’s launch was a watershed moment for the global community of Binghamton alumni and supporters. Leveraging awareness and engagement strategies and a series of video teasers counting down to the big event, Binghamton drove audiences to a multi-faceted virtual launch event featuring panel discussions that showed how philanthropy powers Binghamton. A campus awash in the campaign brand welcomed alumni and friends, and a campaign website went live, sharing stories of student and faculty journeys of discovery and determination.

EXCELERATE inspired unprecedented philanthropy across the entire Binghamton community. Reflecting on this success, Binghamton extended their campaign goal to $250 million, including record growth for The Binghamton Fund. “Moving at the Speed of Binghamton” is no longer just a slogan. It’s a reality—and a roadmap for the future.
